Lewis where were you when I was 18 and really starting to deal with men . My mom didn't hip me to the game of life . No one put it to me like you just did and I'm well into my 30's . I must say my 18 yr old daughter will be turned on to this particular video she needs to hear it from a man's point of view becuase when she went off to college I told her things simular to what you said . I have 4 children I chose not to marry then and for my sake it was a good idea not to marry due to the bad choices in men that I have made . Well here's my point some girls will never hear what you just said from their mothers my mom didn't tell me . Thanks keep it coming my daughter will be listening . MAAAAANE! I just had to hurt my homeboy's feelings cause I had to inform him that his son out of wedlock is not considered a "miracle baby" I love him like a brotha, but just because you had sex with a woman and her tubes were tied and she got pregnant doesn't mean it's a miracle!

On a side note, I'm going to have to make a top 10 lewis quotes and dammit "hey, where'd the mess go!" is going to have to be on the list.

Damn, I have just listened to this for the first time. I know that I am late on this one. I am 29 years old, married and have a 4 month old son. I actually did the steps of being a parent the right way in the way that God expects us to do so. I dated my wife..we got married...and then we had our son. Sometimes I sit back and think on the process on which I had my son and really didn't think much about it as that I waited until after I got married to have my son with my wife because that was just the way that I thought that it was supposed to go. But when I listened to your video, it really made me think about how that is going to affect my son's future. Having a mother and a father in the same household raising is hard enough itself: But trying to do it seperately is not parenting because the child was not the reason that the parenting is by two parents and not one unit to begin with. The child is the one that is going to suffer for that. I know many of people my age that have children taht aren't married and you can see the affects that the situation has put on that child from the jump. I totally agree with your speaking and that two people trying to be parents on opposite weekends is bot a benefit to the child. With a father and a mother there together, it shows unity for the upbring of the child and it shows the child that the mother and a father has a bond for not only the wellbeing for the child, but for the relationship of the mother and the father. That in itself shows the sons and daughters what to strive for when they are looking for to build a good relationship for themselves to grow old with.
